Many of the clients we have treated at our addiction facilities were suffering from addictions that related to past unresolved traumas/life events. The common theme from thousands of clients was their use of substances to escape the symptoms often triggered by painful memories and flashbacks of past events. Clients also didn’t view many of their past events such as accidents, divorce, injuries, medical issues, jail, etc. as traumatic events. They simply thought a traumatic event was abuse and war. The common misconception of clients and families is blaming current mental health symptoms or current events as the cause of the addictions. This couldn’t be further from the truth. We have never treated anyone where the current symptoms or problems were the causal factor for their addictions. In fact, this misconception of current mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, impulsiveness, anger, etc. being the cause often leads therapists to just “Chase Symptoms” and miss the core issues.

BasePoint Academy is an Outpatient Program that provides behavioral health and substance use treatment for adolescents ages 11-18 years old. At BasePoint we provide 2 levels of care: Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient in a safe space where teens can build trust with our team while finding their purpose, learning healthy boundaries and coping skills, and practicing these skills with their peers, while also addressing academics with our Education Counselor. This unique approach allows teens to build these skills during the day, while being able to return to the comfort of their home in the evening. In addition to their adolescent program, BasePoint Academy provides a track specialized in emerging adults struggling with mental health or substance use, serving ages 18-30.

IOP stands for Intensive Outpatient Program. IOP tends to be a best fit for those who do not need inpatient level of care but when symptoms require greater therapeutic support than what can be achieved in the individual outpatient counseling. IOP is structured psychotherapy in a small group format. Group settings are effective in developing self-awareness, emotional management, and social awareness. In order to determine the best care plan for you, we offer confidential consultation and assessment services to better understand your physical, mental, social and emotional health history. Assessments may be scheduled by calling us at 469-340-2777. Whether your assessment is conducted in person or online, our licensed, compassionate clinicians in consultation with our medical staff will recommend an effective plan of care and answer any questions you may have.

The Arise Recovery Centers IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) was created to provide our clients with affordable, transparent, individualized, best practice, and effective drug & alcohol treatment while staying grounded in the principles of 12 step recovery. We work with each individual to heal their mind, body, and spirit, as they develop new life skills that result in long-term recovery.

We are committed to you. Screenings for adult/child/adolescent counseling and IOP appointments available the same day. Psychiatric appointments are available within one week. Urgent night care is available on demand Monday through Saturday 6PM to 9 PM. Reflections is a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that provides meaningful treatment to adolescents (ages 11-18) at our location in The Colony, and adults (ages 18-65) at our location in Plano suffering with mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. It is the first Behavioral Health Lifestyle Medicine day treatment facility in North Texas. Our specialized treatment provides a safe and therapeutic environment focused on restoring lifestyle balance and harmony. The mindfulness program is uniquely tailored through didactics and movement to improve the health and wellness of each patient.

Greenhouse Outpatient Center’s outpatient rehab program is located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Our standard outpatient addiction treatment program is more flexible and less intensive than the partial hospitalization rehab programs and intensive outpatient rehab programs. Our clients play an important role in decisions about their treatment and collaborate with their treatment provider(s) to determine treatment objectives that are realistic. Since each individual entering our doors has their own experiences and needs, the client’s treatment provider(s) take into consideration many factors when developing his/her treatment plan.
