Child & Adult Intensive Outpatient Programs
Red River Hospital is a premier outpatient treatment center for adults and adolescents who have behavioral health concerns. We offer intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) for adults and adolescents who need structured support but do not require a more intensive service like an inpatient program. Patients who participate in our IOP may step up or step down from a different level of care, or they may enter treatment directly at the IOP level. People usually participate in our IOP services for about three to five weeks. This participation consists of five days of on-site programming each week for three hours a day. During this time, you or your loved one may benefit from therapeutic activities like experiential therapies, daily group therapy sessions, medication management, and individual and family therapies. Our intensive outpatient programming serves adults who have mental illnesses and certain addictions along with adolescents who have a variety of behavioral health concerns. We offer diverse treatment modalities to meet our patients’ needs, including 12-Step programming, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Child & Adult Partial Hospitalization Programs
At our outpatient treatment center in Wichita Falls, Texas, we offer high-quality partial hospitalization programming. Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) services are available for adults and adolescents who need a high level of behavioral health support in a focused outpatient setting. Our PHP services are more intensive than those at the IOP level, with patients at the PHP level receiving on-site care Monday-Friday for about five hours each day. Although each person’s needs are unique, the average length of time spent at the PHP level is about three to six weeks. Our partial hospitalization programming supports adults who have mental health concerns and certain addictions, as well as adolescents who have behavioral health concerns like depression, bipolar disorder, and adjustment disorders. To promote the best treatment outcomes for each person, we provide an individualized care plan for each patient that includes the services that can best support them. At the PHP level, a person’s care plan may include elements like medication management, individual and family therapies, daily group therapy, and a variety of treatment modalities.
