First Responders Networking Group

We at the Center for Creative Arts Therapy believe in the promotion and healing of those individuals who dedicate their lives to the emergency services professions. These professions include Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters, Military, Dispatchers, and Medical and Psychiatric Hospital Personnel. We provide a monthly networking group facilitated by our founder, an retired first responder with Riveredge Psychiatric Hospital. This support group is a group to help individuals recognize the signs and symptoms of work-related stress, including depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, aggressive behavior, and to regain a life filled with hope and healing.

The DuPage County New Moms Support Group is a professionally led education and peer support program for new moms of babies ages birth to 12 months old. It is an opportunity to come together to discuss the ups and downs of being a brand new, first time mother in a supportive and nurturing environment. The group provides a safe and non judgmental space for women to learn through the group discussions, share experiences, exchange information and gain support during an adjustment stage that can be a complex combinations of excitement and anxiety.
