Our programs include behavioral health services with a focus on substance abuse and supportive housing for people with cognitive disabilities, and we meet the complex needs of individuals with disabilities seeking treatment for drug and alcohol abuse. Our program is designed for: Those who can benefit from a slower-paced, more individually-focused program. People living with disabilities such as brain injury, developmental disability and/or physical disabilities. Individuals dealing with simultaneous mental illnesses. Since 2002, MHS has provided intensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy services for individuals with significant difficulties in daily functioning. Many of our clients struggle with severe depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, substance abuse, relationship problems and safety issues that require ongoing monitoring and treatment. Our programs can be an alternative to frequent hospitalizations by providing skills training and support designed to manage emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and crises while remaining safe in the community. Hazelden Betty Ford's Center for Teens, Young Adults and Families in Plymouth, MN is where we've been helping those impacted by the disease of addiction for more than 30 years. Young people between the ages of 12 to 25 find freedom from drugs and alcohol and to restore hope. Our accredited and acclaimed programs are nationally recognized with experts and highly specialized staff to meet the developmental needs of young people. Situated on 15 picturesque, wooded acres along the north shore of Medicine Lake in Plymouth, Minnesota, our youth campus provides the ideal setting to begin the journey to recovery. Our unique approach has led to our recognition as a national leader in the treatment of teen alcohol and drug addiction. And our continued commitment to the best evidence-based practices, keeps us ahead of the rest as well as our programs for families. Our innovative COR-12 program is the latest in our evidence-based practices. This program uses medications to help those addicted to pain pills, heroin or other opiates so we can successfully treat young people more successfully.

PrairieCare provides each individual patient the psychiatric care truly needed with specialized psychiatric services for all ages. Our comprehensive care includes Inpatient Hospitalization focused on safety and stabilization, to address acute health and safety concerns; Residential Services for youth ages 10 to 18, with an average length of stay between two and four months; Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) offers intensive crisis stabilization, specialized psychiatric assessment, and intensive therapeutic services; Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) offering programming four or five days per week, with psychoeducation and group sessions; and Clinic/Outpatient Clinic Services providing specialized psychotherapy, psychiatry, medication management, and evaluation.
