We treat anxiety and bipolar disorders, depression, chemical dependency and substance abuse with psychiatric illness, self-injury and many other emotional, behavioral and mental health issues. Our Reflections Eating Disorders Treatment Center, a self-contained unit, is the first and only program in Northern Virginia to provide non-punitive interventions in therapeutically and medically appropriate inpatient and partial hospitalization (day) programs, as well as access to outpatient care in one comprehensive treatment center.

Our Treatment Philosophy

Dominion Hospital is dedicated to meeting the behavioral healthcare needs of its community, region, and beyond accessing our programs. Consistent with its heritage, Dominion Hospital works with a dedicated medical and multidisciplinary staff to provide a continuum of high-quality behavioral healthcare. The treatment philosophy is rooted in a recovery model that provides individualized support and through evidenced-based practices. We believe that people can recover from mental health disorders. For some individuals, recovery is the ability to live a fulfilling and productive life despite a disability. For others, recovery implies the reduction or complete remission of symptoms. We also believe that treatment leads to resilience. We define resilience as the personal and community qualities that enable us to rebound from adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or other stresses - and to go on with life with a sense of mastery, competence, and hope. Dominion Hospital believes that an integrated, individualized, patient centered, and holistic treatment program, in combination with the appropriate social support, can help individuals and their families gain mastery over their mental health problems.
