Milestones provides residential as well as day treatment programs for individuals suffering with Compulsive Overeating, Bulimia, Anorexia, and related disorders. We are a therapeutic community whose mission is to offer a supportive environment from which to begin a new way of life... a life way we refer to as "recovery." Milestones follows a "blended" approach to treatment - addressing both the "addictive" and emotional aspects of an eating disorder. Residents attend a full schedule of group and individual activities during the day as well as participate in various support groups during evenings and weekends. Grocery shopping, meal preparation, and "real world" experiences are an integral part of the program. Unlike a traditional hospital environment, Milestones affords an opportunity to recover in a less restrictive setting while still receiving the support and structure necessary to overcome an eating disorder. It is Summer House's passion to provide a superior substance abuse detox facility, treating adults, suffering from the disease of addiction, alcoholism and/or other chemical dependencies. Summer House has been doing this since 1996. Our detox is a private 24 bed inpatient facility. Psychiatrists, MD's, APNP's, 2 nurses a shift, 24/7,Psychologist, LMHW, LMSW, Addiction Counselors and Behavioral Techs are closely involved in the treatment planning for each patient. Reset Summer Camp is a fully immersive, residential 4-week, clinical program, hosted on a college campus, with a fun-filled, summer camp atmosphere. Teens detox from their screen addictions and learn how to self-regulate while participating in individual/group therapy. The Life Skills program creates understanding and builds self-confidence so our campers will be able to handle their real-world responsibilities.
