The residential addiction treatment program at Heartwood Recovery is designed to give men lasting recovery by focusing on the solution. That solution is sobriety. We achieve this through multiple approaches, such as addiction counseling, 12-step immersion, rehab fitness programs, and more. But our end goal is to provide the necessary tools and skills to sustain life-long recovery.

This expansion into Waelder is Banyan’s first Texas facility providing detoxification and residential addiction treatment services. These levels of care treat dual-diagnosis cases; people struggling with both substance use disorders and mental health disorders. The expansive property offers serenity and privacy, yet is still less than an hour away from Austin, one hour from San Antonio, and approximately an hour and a half from downtown Houston. Clients can rehabilitate surrounded by natural beauty and wildlife in this former world-class lodge which includes a fishing pond, walking trails, chef-prepared meals, fitness center, fully equipped cabin-style rooms, stone fireplace, shuffleboard, swimming pool, and commercial kitchen and dining areas. Banyan Texas programming includes acudetox, experiential art therapy, CBT, DBT, 12-step education, gender-specific therapy groups, Faith in Recovery programming, life skills, relapse prevention, anger management, individual, group, and family therapy.

With offices in The Woodlands, DFW and New Braunfels, we offer an Intensive Outpatient Program that takes place three days per week. In addition to Exposure/Response Prevention, program components include twice-daily check-ins to support program success. After an initial evaluation is completed and admission is approved, the suggested length of treatment is three to four weeks, with a minimum commitment of two weeks required for admission. The convenient format of our program permits minimal disruption of the family/work obligations. Treatment is conducted weekly, Friday through Sunday. Our commitment to our clients' success does not end with graduation from the program. The OCD Clinic is proud of our extensive after-care client support. We also offer Remote Consulting for those individuals who are not yet ready to enter in-person treatment or those with geographical distance. Post-OCD Coaching is also available.

Not everyone has time or flexibility for full residential rehab, For clients not needing detox, our programs allow individuals to maintain their daily scheduled routines such as attending work, school and family activities. The Arbor Behavioral Healthcare’s innovative inpatient program is located on 67 acres along the shores of the San Gabriel River. Clients reside in luxurious, gender specific residences that offer a small group setting, chef-prepared meals and a peaceful environment away from the distractions of life where one can focus on his or her recovery. We offer a holistic, 90-day program that includes both traditional and cutting-edge, evidence-based therapies. Our program provides support for those suffering co-occurring mental health and addiction disorders, or a history of trauma. We work with our clients and their families to create a continuing care program that provides long-term support for as long as needed. Optional long-term support is available via our continuum of care, a system of programs and support groups that offer various levels of structure and accountability as the person graduates from inpatient care to an increasingly independent life.

Eating Recovery Center, San Antonio is a Joint Commission-accredited center for eating disorders treatment and education located in San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 2007 as Eating Disorder Center at San Antonio (EDCASA), our treatment programs serve female and male children, adolescents, adults and families struggling with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder, Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS) and co-occurring conditions.
