Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services
Our primary focus is helping children and adolescents ages 5-18 with behavioral and emotional struggles. We use an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) that helps kids return to healthy, stable and productive lives. Our whole-body approach promotes adequate nutrition, sleep, exercise and especially time in the outdoors. Using telehealth, we continue to provide individual therapy for youth and adults, family therapy sessions, intensive programming – including group therapy – and medication management.
Integrated psychiatry, psychotherapy, and school
Aris Clinic is unique in offering integrated psychiatry, psychotherapy, and education serves for kids in grades K - 12. We can assess and treat comprehensively through group, individual, and family therapy in combination with psychiatry. The educations services are tightly integrated into the program structure allowing for kids to continue or resume school work while part of the Aris IOP. We have maintain group sizes of 10 or less creating a small nurturing environment. Our treatment approach emphasizes addressing patients’ biological, psychological and social issues. We are big believers in the power of lifestyle medicine, which includes nutrition, exercise, healthy sleep, nature and healthy relationships. The IOP teaches strategies for personal growth and success. Professional staff provide a nurturing, structured program of psychiatry sessions/medication management, three hours of group therapy and a weekly family session. Patients are grouped by age and needs. All students learn empowering social-emotional, psycho-educational, mindfulness and coping skills.

**All services are currently 100% telehealth** The intensive outpatient program meets Monday - Friday for full days during the school year and half day in the mornings during the summer. We utilize an eight week Acceptance and Commitment Therapeutic curriculum and also incorporate CBT, DBT, and other modalities as needed. Each day includes a Therapeutic Process Group, a Therapeutic Skills Group, and a Psychoeducation Group. All groups are interactive for each group member. Group sizes are limited to 10 members for grades 7-12 and 6 members for grades K-6.
