Serenity at Stout Street Foundation
Serenity offers a safe healing environment for those struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders. Our highly trained, licensed clinical staff provide evidence-based group, individual, and family therapy as the foundation of our holistic healing experience. We provide our services in a 28-day residential/inpatient setting to optimize staff contact and clinical interaction for clients in early recovery. Serenity Experience
Serenity prides itself on offering highly individualized treatment. Each client receives four individual counseling sessions a week while they are in treatment. Clients engage in group therapy three times a day, seven days a week. Clients attend AA/NA meetings 2x weekly and once a week meet with the medical provider. Serenity also places an emphasis on family and individual healing. Family Therapy is included in weekly sessions for clients during their stay. Client centered-therapy offered includes the following: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Inner Child, Experiential Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Schema Therapy, Prosocial activities, and Relapse Prevention. Aftercare
In preparing for program completion, clients work to develop an aftercare plan, outlining progress and achievement of goals, continued treatment planning, and appointments/referrals for additional services. Graduates of this program have displayed a readiness to change and have built upon their strengths, improving their self-image and initiating their recovery process.
