Individuals and families seeking services at Clarus Center report experiencing positive symptom relief and a strong sense of well-being and peace.
Clarus Center began when independent psychotherapists created a space in which individuals, couples, groups, and families could come to find a safe place to work on problems or create more satisfying lives. Today, psychotherapy services are offered by more than half of the independent practices at Clarus Center. The independent practitioners who provide both traditional and alternative psychotherapy services work in a multitude of modalities, including somatic therapy, hypnotherapy, EMDR, relational therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy. Psychological and neuropsychological assessments for both adults and children are offered as well. In addition to these services, other service providers help round out offerings for optimal wellness, including physical therapy, acupuncture and Chinese medicine, massage and nutritional therapy. Together, these providers essentially form a unique "one stop shopping" experience for those interested in all-encompassing wellness.
Clarus Center is a community of 19 independent healing arts practices that offer a variety of specialties including: Child, Adolescent, Adult Psychiatry; Chinese Herbology and acupuncture; Clinical Psychology; holistic and traditional Psychotherapy; Hypnotherapy; Dance/Movement Therapy; Neuropsychology, School Psychology, Gifted Testing; Dialectical Behavior Therapy; Womens' health; Massage Therapy; Reiki; Nutritional/Dietary Counseling; Chiropractic Therapy and Functional Medicine. Groups
Men's Group
Men's emotional lives are undergoing a remarkable evolution. Only a generation ago the vast majority of men regarded their emotions largely as a nuisance. To become a strong man meant learning to avoid being held back by what you felt. And it seldom occurred to most that they could be strengthened, not weakened, by becoming more aware of their emotions. Today, the advantages of emotional self-awareness are irrefutable. They include: Greater depth of connection with your spouse, children, and close male friends. Better access to your own emotional strengths. Enhanced sense of purpose and personal meaning.
