Adult Inpatient Treatment
Options Behavioral Health, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a leading provider of inpatient treatment for adults ages 18-64. We provide care for adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, and co-occurring substance use disorders and need immediate stabilization. Therapies are delivered by a diverse team of professionals that includes master's-level social workers and counselors, licensed nursing staff, and psychiatrists. Our staff members have extensive experience and training in specialty areas such as applied behavior analysis, forensic interviewing, chemical dependency, and domestic violence support. During their stay at our hospital, patients can participate in a range of evidence-based therapies and programming. Within 72 hours of admission, patients have an individual therapy session with a licensed clinician. Patients can also take part in daily process, activity, and psychoeducation groups led by our nursing and counseling staff. Adults ages 18-55 typically remain in inpatient care for three to seven days, but adults age 55 and older can stay for up to 14 days. Adolescent Inpatient Treatment
At Options Behavioral Health in Indianapolis, Indiana, we provide high-quality mental health treatment for adolescents ages 12-18 who are suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and conduct disorders. We are also equipped to care for the needs of adolescents who have co-occurring substance use disorders in addition to primary mental health conditions. Adolescents in our inpatient treatment program typically come to us in a state of crisis and need highly structured care and supervision to achieve stability and healing. During their inpatient stay, your child will work closely with compassionate professionals in a safe and secure environment. These professionals are experts in their fields and lead a variety of therapies that are designed specifically for young people. The therapies your child may participate in include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). Each young person follows a unique treatment plan, but most adolescents remain in inpatient care for three to seven days. Treatment Approach
At Options Behavioral Health, adults and adolescents receive inpatient care in two separate units. Each person completes a comprehensive assessment when they arrive at our hospital. Our admissions team asks each patient a series of questions about their medical and mental health treatment history, symptoms, and goals for treatment. Based on this information, we create a personalized treatment plan for them that may include medication management services and individual, group, family, and experiential therapies. Our clinicians utilize a variety of therapy methods, including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, conflict resolution and crisis intervention therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy. In therapy sessions, patients have the opportunity to learn anger management techniques and healthy coping skills and can set goals for the future. Patients can also enjoy expressive arts, music therapy, and yoga. Call or Email Options Behavioral Health - Inpatient Program now for a free 15 minute consultation - (317) 653-4222
