Meridian Recovery is a virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) dedicated to empowering adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Our fully online program is meticulously crafted to supplement your work in individual therapy, by providing an added layer of support and care. Conveniently held 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 4 to 7 pm, our program fits seamlessly into your busy work life. Therapeutic Approaches: We offer a rich tapestry of evidence-based group therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Trauma-Focused Group Therapy, alongside innovative mindfulness and Art Therapy sessions.

Designed for individuals with psychological issues, our West Los Angeles program is for those who are struggling to navigate daily life and would benefit from a comprehensive program including daily individual psychotherapy and multiple psychotherapy groups, including the support of other clients experiencing similar challenges. It caters to those who need more comprehensive psychological support than traditional therapy can provide. We also help clients who self-medicate and are experiencing issues of dependency and substance use concerns.

The UCLA Aftercare Research Program is a joint clinical and research program located in the UCLA Department of Psychiatry specializing in the treatment of individuals with schizophrenia and related disorders who are in an early phase of their illness. For the last 40 years, our Program treatment team has been providing free services to young-adult patients, most of whom are in their late teens or early twenties (ages 18 to 45 are eligible). Our primary treatment aim is to assist patients through the tumultuous first years after the onset of psychosis, and to help treat their psychosis while getting them back on their feet again.

Our specialized staff of doctoral and master's level therapists are experts in OCD and anxiety-related issues, providing clients with a range of resources and treatments, including psychodynamic therapies, up to 100 weekly groups, and participation in the PCH Family Program. ‍ ‍Recognizing OCD as a serious neuropsychiatric condition, our treatment is highly individualized, addressing each client's specific symptoms and their impact on daily life. Our core OCD program relies on ERP, the gold standard treatment, supplemented with Cognitive Therapy and pharmacological management as needed. We also address co-existing conditions like mood disorders, psychological trauma, and personality issues, which often accompany OCD. ‍ Family Involvement and Expert Guidance are central components of our programming.

We help our patients cope with the isolation that comes with depression and mental illness. By coupling the latest technology with support and education, our goal is to provide patients with sustainable long-term recovery from depression. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an FDA approved method for treating depression. The patient’s neural pathways responsible for mood are stimulated by a magnetic field created by coils in the machine. The machine is placed over the patient’s head while they sit in a comfortable chair. The effects of TMS are long-lasting and have been tested and proven safe.

Community West is an integrative treatment center designed by a community of mental health experts to provide a dynamic healing experience for adolescents, young adults, and their families.
