Women’s Partial Hospitalization Program
Timberline Knolls offers a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for women age 18 and older who are struggling with eating disorders, substance use disorders, and other mental health concerns. Our partial hospitalization program can be an excellent choice for women who want personalized and structured care but don’t need 24-hour support. Women can step down to our PHP from residential or inpatient care, or they can enter the program directly. In our PHP, clients can go home after the treatment day is over or they can stay in one of our on-campus lodges. Those who stay in our supportive housing can benefit from staff services, 24/7 peer support, comfortable living quarters, and transportation to and from our outpatient center. Our multidisciplinary staff includes experts like licensed social workers, therapists, physicians, psychiatrists, art therapists, dietitians, and nutritionists. Those who participate in our PHP can receive support in a safe and inclusive environment. Treatment Approach
We strive to offer clinically excellent, personalized treatment that can make a meaningful difference for each woman who receives care at our center. Our expert staff designs each client’s treatment plan, taking into account their life experiences, medical history, and genetic background. We aim to provide therapies and services that meet the women in our care wherever they are on their healing journeys. Depending on her needs, a client’s treatment plan can include evidence-based talk therapy, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and psychoeducation. Our licensed therapists and social workers incorporate the principles of the 12-Step recovery model, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to help women develop coping skills that can aid them in the healing process. In individual therapy sessions, a client can discuss their feelings and experiences one-on-one with a therapist in a confidential setting. In group therapy sessions, women can receive education, share their experiences, and support each other. Our Treatment Center
Our outpatient program is located in Orland Park, Illinois, approximately 20 minutes from our main campus. There may be many phases of healing for clients who are struggling with behavioral health concerns. Our PHP can provide flexible yet structured care that can help women progress toward their treatment goals. Women who take part in our partial hospitalization program can choose between five or seven days of treatment each week. Stays typically last between two and three weeks, depending on a client’s needs. Partial hospitalization programming at our outpatient facility may include group, family, and individual therapies as well as basic medical care and medication management services, if needed. We also offer a wide range of experiential therapies, like outings, yoga, and art therapy. Our campus features designated art buildings and music rooms to encourage creativity and expression. PHP clients can receive individual therapy twice weekly and group therapy multiple times daily.
