Nova's Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a level of care perfect for those who need continued support as they transition from inpatient care, or for those who are ready to make a change but cannot commit to a residential treatment program. In some circumstance, the program can provide treatment while allowing for greater freedom to attend work or other obligations as well.

The ARISE RECOVERY CENTERS IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) was created to provide our clients with affordable, transparent, individualized, best practice, and effective drug & alcohol treatment while staying grounded in the principles of 12 step recovery. We work with each individual to heal their mind, body, and spirit, as they develop new life skills that result in long-term recovery.

We understand that the treatment needs of our clients change daily. Positive Recovery Centers offer a broad range of treatment services both in-person and remote, utilizing a personalized and multidisciplinary approach to meet the needs of all clients in varying stages of recovery. To protect the health of all of our clients and staff Positive Recovery Centers is also offering Online Treatment Services for outpatient clients across all of our locations effective immediately.

Petoskey Center provides patients with the opportunity to experience intensive treatment without the need for inpatient or residential psychiatric hospitalization. They can continue meeting their responsibilities (as much as possible) in their communities while diving more deeply into treatment. Petoskey Center's intensive outpatient program (IOP) gives clients a safe place to: Explore the reasons behind their psychological struggles; learn and practice new skills for coping, managing, and preventing emotional crises; identify a path forward in terms of education, career, family, lifestyle; and ​practice implementing real change both in and outside the therapy environment. We are focused on mental health issues and do not work with patients struggling with addiction as their primary difficulty.

Heights Treatment offers several levels of care to fit the needs of each individual in their recovery journey. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the most intensive level of treatment with programming 5 days per week, approximately 6 hours per day. This outpatient option allows clients to benefit from a high level of clinical care and support with the luxury of living in their own home or sober living environment. Clients who seek a slightly less intensive level of care may choose our Intensive Oupatient Program (IOP), which is offered 3-5 days per week, for 3 hours per day. Just as in PHP, clients receive group therapy each day they attend treatment, with topics that range from DBT skills, healthy relationships, recovery skills, emotional, spiritual, and relational sobriety, and grief and loss. The least intense level of care offered at Heights Treatment is our Outpatient Program (OP). This program is designed for the client who is in need of additional support while they return to full-time work and/or daily living. Our Outpatient Program is then a great option for continuing care after the completion of IOP or PHP.

Next Step Behavioral Houston is a 24/7 residential treatment facility for Adults 18 and older with severe mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Our primary focus of care is mental illness. We provide short term (90 days or less) and long-term (life care) for our clients, which is based on their individual needs. New Dimensions Day Treatment Centers provides Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Treatment to Adolescents and Adults who are in crisis.
