Zion Hills Academy, a nonprofit (501C3) Residential Treatment Center in Southern Utah, specializes in treating teen girls experiencing Reactive Attachment Disorder. Many of our adolescents struggle with emotion dysregulation and may display high-risk or self-harming behaviors. DBT is research-proven to help reduce these issues. Through DBT, we teach our patients the skills needed for distress tolerance, improved impulse control, emotion regulation, and effective communication. Adolescents ages 13-18 can participate in our PHP and receive targeted therapeutic interventions for nine hours per day, five days per week. This treatment option is ideal for young people who don’t require round-the-clock residential care but would still benefit from intensive therapies. At Youth Care, we understand that every young person's healing journey is unique. Therefore, we believe in personalizing their treatment plan as much as possible. Every adolescent’s experience is different, but most young people participate in our PHP for four to five months.
