Tapestry Eating Disorder Programs

Tapestry is a licensed Residential and Partial Hospitalization Program providing comprehensive eating disorder treatment for women who are ready for change. Our home is nestled within the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina, and we're convenient to many major metropolitan areas. We consider the many dramatic waterfalls, wide vistas, and pristine forests nearby to be an important aspect of your recovery program.

Residential Eating Disorders Treatment Program

Tapestry is unique from most residential eating disorders programs in the United States because it is a voluntary, community based program. Because Tapestry is voluntary, it is an excellent program for motivated self starting women who want to make positive changes in their lives. However, it is not for every woman who has an eating disorder. The length of treatment varies, but the average is six to eight weeks, and may require up to six months for maximum therapeutic effectiveness. Your motivation and the severity of the disorder influence the length and level of recommended care. We provide continuing support and follow-up to help you maintain and grow your healing process

Outpatient/PHP Eating Disorders Treatment Program

Tapestry firmly believes that your recovery does not stop when you've graduated the program. We view recovery as an extended period of life transitions resulting from the gains made by your effort. Our concept is to provide an ongoing continuum of care from nutritional counseling to clinical outpatient services. Aftercare is as important to your recovery as the very first day you entered treatment. Tapestry Counseling Services provides a licensed Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Outpatient Services for treatment of Adults and Adolescents with Eating Disorders. We also offer Nutritional Counseling, EMDR and IMAGO therapy.
