About Our Facility-Father Martin's Ashley

Father Martin's Ashley is a private, non-profit, Joint Commission accredited, 85-bed, inpatient addiction and chronic pain treatment center located on a picturesque, 147-acre campus on the banks of the Chesapeake Bay in Northern Maryland. Father Martin's Ashley is south of New York City and Philadelphia, and north of Baltimore and Washington, D.C. We offer full medical detox services and our Pain Recovery Program that provides chronic pain treatment for those needing pain management and help to reduce their dependence on opiates and other pain medications. We have tracks for young adults, men and women as well as programs for first treatment and those who have suffered a relapse. We over comprehensive medical services and psychotherapeutic addiction therapy. We have four physicians, over 30 nurses, including full-time pain physician and a full time addiction psychiatrist. We offer holistic therapies including art, music, physical therapy and functional restoration, massage, acupuncture, yoga, recreation and 12 step support meetings. Founded in 1983, we've treated over 40,000 patients and have special weekend programs for families with addicted loved-ones and our Rainbow of Hope program for children living in a home with addiction.


Our philosophy at Father Martin's Ashley is that those addicted or in chronic pain can have a better life. We offer special programs and tracks for Relapse, Women, Men, Young Adults, Chronic Pain (The Pain Recovery Program at Father Martin's Ashley), Family Education and Children living in homes with drug or alcohol addiction. Ashley is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and not affiliated with, or supported by, any religious institution. We are located near I-95 between Washington, DC and New York City. We can transport patients from Baltimore-Washington or Philadelphia International airports or regional Amtrak train stations.
