Our intimate meeting rooms offer the ideal setting for group sessions and small group discussions. Patient rooms are semi-private and overlook an outdoor courtyard. We believe a patient's progress in treatment is hindered when isolated and that having a roommate leads to a richer, deeper treatment experience. Comfortable common areas are available for patient use during reflection periods and leisure time. The facility's dining room has both a cozy and family-like feel. Tasty and nutritious meals are prepared daily by our full time executive chef and his team. Our 9,000 sq. ft. WestBridge offers a wide variety of services that our clinical team customizes depending on the stage of change for each participant. Each individual at WestBridge participates collaboratively with their family and their team in an ongoing treatment planning process to create and maintain a Personalized Achievement Agenda, which changes and evolves depending on the stage of recovery that person is experiencing.

“Using Neurofeedback, people of all ages can effortlessly learn to re-condition their brains to correct unbalanced brain wave activity, resulting in improved day-to-day functioning. You can think of Neurofeedback as "brain training." Like a muscle, your brain gets stronger the more you train it. When the brain works better, you feel better and do better. Neurofeedback has an 85 - 90% success rate in reducing symptoms of ADHD, and has been deemed a "Level 1, Best Support Treatment" by the American Academy of Pediatrics for ADHD, which is the highest level of support. Research using neurofeedback with Autism shows promising results, such as some students improving sufficiently to be mainstreamed into regular classes. In cases such as behavioral problems in children (e.g., temper tantrums, aggression), Neurofeedback can help children learn to control impulsive behaviors. For depression, a gradual lifting of mood and energy can occur. In cases of anxiety, people can experience decreased frequency and intensity of anxiety. For migraines, there's a reduction of intensity, duration and frequency, even for people resistant to medication. With Neurofeedback, unlike medications, you are in control of your own treatment, there are no side effects, and training is time-limited.

Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment
INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Residential Inpatient treatment in Delaware County usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near Delaware County.
Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in Delaware County, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.
Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Outpatient treatment programs in Delaware County or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.
Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in Delaware County are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.
Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
INPATIENT OR OUTPATIENT: WHAT'S RIGHT FOR ME?
* How much can you afford? Generally, Delaware County outpatient treatment is cheaper than inpatient treatment because housing is not provided and fewer hours of treatment (and often fewer therapy alternatives) are offered.
* Are you able to control your behaviors? Inpatient treatment provides constant supervision to offset the temptation of drugs or eating disordered behavior in the early stages of treatment.
* Follow-up support network near Delaware County? If you do decide to attend inpatient treatment, look for a center that can offer you or direct you to another service where you will be provided with follow-up care after you leave in an effort to avoid relapse.
* Is your condition severe? Constant medical attention is given to those in inpatient care, which may be especially important for those with pain and eating disorders.
