Treatment Centers in Allegheny County

Village Center for Holistic Therapy, Treatment Facility in Pittsburgh
“We come to therapy for many different reasons. Maybe we've lost someone close to us. Maybe we feel disempowered and unmotivated at work and at home. Or we're drowning in rage. Or shame. Or fear. Maybe we have a tendency that interrupts our connections with others and our self-growth. Maybe we can't bring our selves to forgive. Or certain memories have hijacked our very being. But the most vital reason we come to therapy is that we want to grow: we have imagined something else and we want change. That in itself is momentous.

Three Rivers Psychological Associates, LLC, Treatment Facility in Oakmont
“Psychological issues and stress can make it difficult to manage daily life, whether at work, within relationships, or simply completing household duties. If this is something you are struggling with, we would like to help you develop new coping skills and rebuild your relationships. We believe psychological distress can isolate individuals from those important to them, thus exacerbating their symptoms and damaging their relationships. Such damage may be due to inconsistent or ineffective communication patterns, daily struggles that put strain on relationships, or psychological distress. We strive to help you repair relationships that have become damaged or broken over time. Together we will work on strengthening your support system by examining your interpersonal communication styles, reinforcing healthy interactional patterns, and developing positive coping skills to manage psychological symptoms or concerns.

“What is Brain Restoration+ (NTR) Neurotransmitter Restoration Therapy or BR+ is a Natural IV therapy used to help those detox from addiction to drugs and/or alcohol. The IV therapy utilizes a co enzyme called NAD to saturate the brain in nutrients. The nutrients directly result in the decrease of withdrawal by 50% or more. White River Academy, Treatment Facility in Pittsburgh
“White River Academy is an environment that is small and family directed. Assisting your adolescent in the "change of heart" process is what will assist in making the decisions you always hoped he would. Putting others before self shifts the focus of the teen to one of "what can I do to be productive" rather than "what can others do for me". WRA individualizes academics so that each students needs are met. A high level of commitment to academics has resulted in most students seeking a college education post WRA. Many students have gone straight from WRA into a University or trade school. And some have even qualified for scholarships. You as a parent believe that your teen has potential that they aren't currently living up to. We, too, believe your adolescent has the potential and we want to help them find it. Your struggling teen can and will make permanent changes within and for the better here at White River Academy. White River is a private pay boarding school. We also offer programs that accept private insurance available at our other treatment locations, call today to learn more about our Adolescent, Young Adult, and Adult programs.

Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment

INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Residential Inpatient treatment in Allegheny County usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near Allegheny County.

Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in Allegheny County, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.

Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.

OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Outpatient treatment programs in Allegheny County or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.

Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in Allegheny County are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.

Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
Treatment Type

INPATIENT OR OUTPATIENT: WHAT'S RIGHT FOR ME?

* How much can you afford? Generally, Allegheny County outpatient treatment is cheaper than inpatient treatment because housing is not provided and fewer hours of treatment (and often fewer therapy alternatives) are offered.

* Are you able to control your behaviors? Inpatient treatment provides constant supervision to offset the temptation of drugs or eating disordered behavior in the early stages of treatment.

* Follow-up support network near Allegheny County? If you do decide to attend inpatient treatment, look for a center that can offer you or direct you to another service where you will be provided with follow-up care after you leave in an effort to avoid relapse.

* Is your condition severe? Constant medical attention is given to those in inpatient care, which may be especially important for those with pain and eating disorders.
How Treatment Centers Can Help

ALCOHOL AND DRUG REHAB

Treatment centers in Allegheny County help clients with substance abuse issues, drug abuse and pain treatment. Drug detox or alcohol detox is the first step on the road to recovery from drug addiction or alcohol addiction and a clean life. After detoxing, the rehabilitation process can begin.

EATING DISORDER TREATMENT

Eating Disorder treatment centers in Allegheny County help treat a range of problem eating and food issues such as childhood feeding disorders, food avoidance, obesity, Anorexia, Bulimia or compulsive overeating, binge eating, night eating and body image issues. They address the destructive behaviors and underlying emotional issues of disordered eating. Their programs can include family involvement and are designed to help patients in Allegheny County develop the skills they need to make lifelong change. Programs incorporate dietary counseling and nutritional education and may be supervised by a therapist, medical director, nurse and dietitian.
