Clearbrook The Lodge, Treatment Facility in Amherst
“Drug addiction and/or Alcoholism has slowly but surely destroyed your life and the lives of those who love you. You feel so powerless; no matter how many times you have tried or how sincere you are about stopping... YOU JUST CAN'T STAY STOPPED! Nobody knows how you feel better than us since most of our staff are in recovery. They were once where you are now and they know what you are thinking. Through private counseling, group counseling, workshops, and the 12 Steps and principals of AA/NA, they have changed their lives. They are now drug and alcohol free and enjoy their lives. They want to show you how to do this. The goal at PMRC and the LODGE is simple. We want to teach you about your addiction and what you need to do on a daily basis to allow you, one day at a time, to have a life free of addiction. Millions of people are doing this everyday and, if you are willing to open up your mind, you too can lead a very happy life...free of addiction. We welcome you to PMRC and the LODGE and are here to help in everyway!

Pocono Mountain Recovery Treatment, Treatment Facility in Amherst
“Located on approximately 10 acres in Henryville, PA, Pocono Mountain Recovery Center offers patients a rustic, peaceful environment where they learn about sobriety. Our intimate meeting rooms offer the ideal setting for group sessions and small group discussions. Patient rooms are semi-private and overlook an outdoor courtyard. We believe a patient's progress in treatment is hindered when isolated and that having a roommate leads to a richer, deeper treatment experience. Comfortable common areas are available for patient use during reflection periods and leisure time. The facility's dining room has both a cozy and family-like feel. Tasty and nutritious meals are prepared daily by our full time executive chef and his team. Our 9,000 sq. ft. Recovery Dome will be used for exercise and recreational purposes, as well as for meetings, special events and alumni gatherings. Other facility amenities include a summer time BBQ pit, picnic area, sand volleyball court, walking "Freedom Trail", state of the art indoor gymnasium and full sized sports court.

Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment

INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Residential Inpatient treatment in Hampshire County usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near Hampshire County.

Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in Hampshire County, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.

Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.

OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Outpatient treatment programs in Hampshire County or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.

Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in Hampshire County are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.

Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
Treatment Type

INPATIENT OR OUTPATIENT: WHAT'S RIGHT FOR ME?

* How much can you afford? Generally, Hampshire County outpatient treatment is cheaper than inpatient treatment because housing is not provided and fewer hours of treatment (and often fewer therapy alternatives) are offered.

* Are you able to control your behaviors? Inpatient treatment provides constant supervision to offset the temptation of drugs or eating disordered behavior in the early stages of treatment.

* Follow-up support network near Hampshire County? If you do decide to attend inpatient treatment, look for a center that can offer you or direct you to another service where you will be provided with follow-up care after you leave in an effort to avoid relapse.

* Is your condition severe? Constant medical attention is given to those in inpatient care, which may be especially important for those with pain and eating disorders.
