Treatment Centers in Sonoma County
“If you, or someone you love, suffers from addiction you know that this potentially fatal illness can wreak havoc on one's body, mind, and soul, and destroy precious relationships. Deteriorating physical health, family troubles, and legal repercussions are the common consequences that accompany the actions taken by those in addiction's grip. There is hope! At Sonoma Recovery Services' Olympia House Program, we work to treat the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - not just the addiction. Our integrated approach is based on the philosophy that treatment isn't something that happens to you; instead, you are an active participant. Located in the farm belt of western Sonoma County, Olympia House is a 24 bed residential facility, surrounded by more than 140 acres of lush agricultural land. In this serene landscape, Olympia House fosters a home-like atmosphere with individualized treatment, enabling our clients to find freedom from addiction.
“At Five Sisters Ranch we provide an intimate, sober setting for women to take an in depth look at core relationship challenges with self and others. We are committed to the concept that each woman is unique and requires specialized individual levels of care. When women walk through our doors, we meet them exactly where they are, embrace the totality of their being and offer them the opportunity to grow in a safe and beautiful non-toxic environment. Our commitment to having a small number of residents was a conscious choice to enable our staff to design a specific 30 day program for each individual. Our intention is to help women create a new reference of self. When one is in healthy alignment with who they are from a spiritual, psychological, social and physical aspect, peace and serenity emerge from within. We specialize in love addiction, co-dependency, trauma, and relationship challenges.
“Rehabs and doctors across America are failing in the treatment of addiction disorders. (Read CASAColumbia's results from a national five-year study to understand why: See http://www.casacolumbia.org/article "Closing the Gap Between Science & Practice.") The research explains why our methods are failing...and they clearly outline what science has demonstrated WORKS in the treatment of addiction. The answer is not rocket science--it's health science. For generations people have been going to rehabs (often again and again) to no avail. The first week the patients sit in a room while the counselors (recovering addicts and alcoholics) tell them that addiction is a disease. What follows is a lot of talk about the 12 Steps...never again addressing or treating the disease of addiction! ADDICTION IS A DISEASE AND TO EFFECTIVELY TREAT IT YOU MUST TREAT THE BODY AND THE MIND. Our program does just that. Everyone is treated for 6 months following the protocols detailed by scientific evidence: you'll have an MD, acupuncturist, FAR-infrared therapy, psychopharmacology, nutritional supplements, gym membership, comprehensive psychological therapies by professionals...and so much more--combined, holistic, and comprehensive care proven to work! We've got your back.

Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment
INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Residential Inpatient treatment in Sonoma County usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near Sonoma County.
Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in Sonoma County, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.
Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Outpatient treatment programs in Sonoma County or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.
Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in Sonoma County are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.
Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
INPATIENT OR OUTPATIENT: WHAT'S RIGHT FOR ME?
* How much can you afford? Generally, Sonoma County outpatient treatment is cheaper than inpatient treatment because housing is not provided and fewer hours of treatment (and often fewer therapy alternatives) are offered.
* Are you able to control your behaviors? Inpatient treatment provides constant supervision to offset the temptation of drugs or eating disordered behavior in the early stages of treatment.
* Follow-up support network near Sonoma County? If you do decide to attend inpatient treatment, look for a center that can offer you or direct you to another service where you will be provided with follow-up care after you leave in an effort to avoid relapse.
* Is your condition severe? Constant medical attention is given to those in inpatient care, which may be especially important for those with pain and eating disorders.
