I also may incorporate more direct mindfulness-based cognitive-behavioral approaches in therapy when effective to promote symptomatic change.
My areas of special interest include processing emotion, multicultural identity, relational conflict, depression, self-compassion, and LGBTQ concerns. I have experience in multiple settings, including university counseling centers, academic teaching and administration, inpatient psychiatric units, and VA hospitals.
