This free group is informal in nature and appropriate for people experiencing panic disorder and other anxiety issues. It provides an opportunity for discussion and support among participants and is most helpful when used as an adjunct to individual therapy, either at AATC or elsewhere. The main objective of this free group is to help each member develop self-help skills in an atmosphere that offers emotional and practical support. The format consists of open discussion on a variety of topics, small group discussion to focus on individualized goal planning and an opportunity to socialize informally with other group members. Please call Dr. Linda Welsh before attending the first time to make sure the group will be beneficial for you. A support group for family members is held at the same time.
