“Today, more than ever women face challenges that affect their daily lives and the lives of others around them. For some women it's the challenge of balancing career and family responsibilities-parenting or caring for elderly parents. For others, it's the challenge of working through life transitions-death of a loved one, separation, or divorce. For some, it's dealing with the effects of sex abuse that occurred in their childhood, such as depression or anxiety. And for others, it is dealing with a life threatening eating disorder. As we have been for the past thirty years, we are here as a resource to all women, no matter what challenges they face. Our therapists understand that change can be painful and difficult to achieve. They know that it takes time and you may falter along the way, give up, then restart the process once again. They know this, but remain committed to helping you make the greatest strides possible in your treatment.
“The Behavioral Medicine and Wellness Center (BMWC), a service of Salem Community Hospital, offers specialized outpatient treatment and support for adults facing a range of mental health issues. The program serves as a link in the continuum of care for individuals who need more intensive therapy than traditional outpatient care, but do not require admission to an inpatient facility. The program does not replace an individual's current outpatient treatment, but rather serves to enhance the client's existing plan of care when further intervention is needed. We serve adults 18 years and over with a variety of mental health diagnoses. Clients must be cognitively and emotionally capable of participating in group therapy, and should demonstrate a reasonable expectation for improvement in their diagnosis and level of functioning.

“Rapid opiate detox under sedation is a treatment that displaces opiates from the brain receptors inducing withdrawals that are not experienced while the patient is asleep. MDS rapid detox is safe and effective. Patients stay with us for 4 to 5 days to complete the protocol. Naltrexone (opiate blocker) maintenance treatment after rapid opiate detox is an essential component in achieving a better success rate for a drug free life style followed by psychotherapy. Naltrexone helps reduce cravings tremendously and prevents relapse. A Naltrexone pellet is inserted under the skin, by Dr. George and dissolves slowly over a period of 2 month. We detox all opiates and prescription painkillers such as Oxycontin, Percocet, Vicodin, Suboxone, Methadone and Heroin. We believe in total abstinence and do not substitute one opiate for another. Start with our "Home" page at www.mdsdrugdetox.com, email us firstname.lastname@example.org or call us for a free consultation.

Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment
INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Residential Inpatient treatment in Findlay usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near Findlay.
Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in Findlay, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.
Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Outpatient treatment programs in Findlay or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.
Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in Findlay are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.
Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
INPATIENT OR OUTPATIENT: WHAT'S RIGHT FOR ME?
* How much can you afford? Generally, Findlay outpatient treatment is cheaper than inpatient treatment because housing is not provided and fewer hours of treatment (and often fewer therapy alternatives) are offered.
* Are you able to control your behaviors? Inpatient treatment provides constant supervision to offset the temptation of drugs or eating disordered behavior in the early stages of treatment.
* Follow-up support network near Findlay? If you do decide to attend inpatient treatment, look for a center that can offer you or direct you to another service where you will be provided with follow-up care after you leave in an effort to avoid relapse.
* Is your condition severe? Constant medical attention is given to those in inpatient care, which may be especially important for those with pain and eating disorders.
