Brevard Outpatient Alternative Treatment, Treatment Facility in Satellite Beach
“B.O.A.T. offers a complete program for substance abuse in a confidential and dignified setting. The program consists of individual and group counseling on a weekly basis. People who experiment with drugs continue to use them because the substance either makes them feel good, or stops them from feeling bad. In many cases, however, there is a fine line between regular use and drug abuse and addiction. Very few addicts are able to recognize when they have crossed that line. While frequency or the amount of drugs consumed don't in themselves constitute drug abuse or addiction, they can often be indicators of drug-related problems.

Advanced Behavioral Medicine, Treatment Facility in Melbourne
“Advanced Behavioral Medicine's general outpatient treatment program, under the direction of addictionologist Dr. Stacy Seikel, offers individualized therapy to clients struggling with substance abuse and addictions. Outpatient substance abuse treatment provides clients who live completely independently with the professional ongoing therapy interactions needed to maintain recovery, while returning to school and work. Clients in outpatient addiction treatment continue to process their successes, explore fears and concerns, and continue relapse prevention development. Some clients, depending on their drug use history and quality of family support, may receive initial substance abuse help on an outpatient basis, without previously attending a residential program.Providing a seamless transition along all parts of the continuum of care, including our outpatient treatment program, is an important part of the services that we provide. All members of the treatment team collaborate in sharing information and adjusting treatment, so that the entire recovery process progresses effectively.

Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment

INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Residential Inpatient treatment in Brevard County usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near Brevard County.

Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in Brevard County, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.

Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.

OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Outpatient treatment programs in Brevard County or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.

Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in Brevard County are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.

Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
