Rapid Detox Waismann Method, Treatment Facility in San Diego
“WAISMANN METHOD® opiate treatment is a safe and proven protocol for opiate dependency that utilizes the most advanced medical and psychological techniques available. Together Michael H. Lowenstein M.D. and Clare Waismann, Registered Addiction Specialist (RAS) created treatment protocols based on a foundation of safety, success and respect. Operating in a hospital allows us to treat higher risk patients like smokers, patients dealing with high-blood pressure, medical issues, obesity, IV users, those with higher level opiate intake and long term opiate users. For their health and safety, these patients should only go through medical detoxification in a hospital where all medical support is immediately available. From rapid opiate detoxification under sedation, to medically assisted detoxification and managed care at Domus Retreat, our doctors, therapists and staff work with patients to create personalized treatment and aftercare plans. This ensures a healthy and effective transition to life without opiates. WAISMANN METHOD® patients achieve an extraordinarily high success rate because the treatment doesn't take a cookie cutter approach to addressing opiate dependency. We always put treatment and care over judgment and punishment. For more information, please visit opiates.com.

Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment

INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Residential Inpatient treatment in San Diego usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near San Diego.

Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in San Diego, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.

Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.

OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?

Outpatient treatment programs in San Diego or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.

Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in San Diego are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.

Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
