“The Behavioral Medicine and Wellness Center (BMWC), a service of Salem Community Hospital, offers specialized outpatient treatment and support for adults facing a range of mental health issues. The program serves as a link in the continuum of care for individuals who need more intensive therapy than traditional outpatient care, but do not require admission to an inpatient facility. The program does not replace an individual's current outpatient treatment, but rather serves to enhance the client's existing plan of care when further intervention is needed. We serve adults 18 years and over with a variety of mental health diagnoses. Clients must be cognitively and emotionally capable of participating in group therapy, and should demonstrate a reasonable expectation for improvement in their diagnosis and level of functioning.
“The goal of Pathways of Ohio Counseling Services, LLC is to schedule an initial appointment within a week of your call for our services. Our philosophy is built around extraordinary client care. Inpatient or Outpatient Treatment
INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Residential Inpatient treatment in East Liverpool usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near East Liverpool.
Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in East Liverpool, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.
Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Outpatient treatment programs in East Liverpool or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.
Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in East Liverpool are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.
Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
