Seven Stars helps boys and girls, ages 13 through 18, struggling with neurodevelopmental issues including autism and aspergers, executive function deficits (ADHD/ADD) and learning disorders (language-based, verbal and nonverbal). These neurodevelopmental issues, such as autism and aspergers, are thought to be a primary cause of emotional and behavioral disturbance and presenting issues. Examples of issues that students struggle with include developmental immaturity, academic difficulties, social difficulties, technology addiction or overuse, rigidity, and executive function deficits. The families we work with are seeking assessments and treatment for theses issues and challenges.

We provide a full continuum of care at locations around the country, including residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; telehealth; and alumni programming. At Youth Care Treatment Center, we understand that adolescents have unique needs when it comes to behavioral health treatment. At our campus, we offer age-appropriate care through our adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) in Draper, Utah. We provide treatment for young people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), conduct disorders, and attachment disorders. Adolescents ages 13-18 can participate in our PHP and receive targeted therapeutic interventions for nine hours per day, five days per week. This treatment option is ideal for young people who don’t require round-the-clock residential care but would still benefit from intensive therapies. At Youth Care, we understand that every young person's healing journey is unique. Therefore, we believe in personalizing their treatment plan as much as possible. Every adolescent’s experience is different, but most young people participate in our PHP for four to five months. In our PHP, adolescents can engage in several different therapies, such as individual therapy up to three times a week, family therapy once a week, and daily group therapies.

The philosophy of New Beginnings is a multifaceted and collaborative approach based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Using true client centered methods, interventions and treatments are tailored to focus on patterns of thinking that are maladaptive and the beliefs that undermine such thinking.
