Intensive Outpatient Treatment Centers in Bend
“The mission of Rimrock Trails Adolescent Treatment Services is to offer quality and effective adolescent substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment. Rimrock Trails has provided adolescents and their families a values-based program promoting holistic treatment for nearly two decades. Located in the heart of Central Oregon, the Residential Treatment Center provides a living environment designed to promote a feeling of comfort, support and safety that enhances the therapeutic change process. Length of stay is typically 90-120 days but can range from four to six months. Appropriate referrals for Rimrock Trails include boys and girls ages 12-17 with a primary diagnosis of substance dependence. Referrals are pre-screened for appropriateness of placement and must be assessed as a low risk of disruption to the current group and may not have a history of violent, sex or fire related offenses.

“Dragonfly Transitions is a nine to twelve month program in Klamath Falls, Oregon. We work with our students to help them transition into a healthy young adult life with independence and autonomy. Dragonfly offers the opportunity for real world experience while providing a stable, supportive environment where students can flourish.
“Santiam Crossing School provides families with a treatment option that is less than one year in length, therapeutically intensive, and enables students to catch up academically. The curriculum integrates academics, therapy, wilderness adventure experiences, and service learning. All aspects of the program are designed to engage students in the process of understanding themselves and appreciating their families. Appropriate candidates for Santiam Crossing School are adolescents ages 13 to 18 who are exhibiting negative behaviors and struggling with a variety of emotional issues including depression and hopelessness, grief and loss, adoption and attachment issues, attention problems, impulsivity, anxiety, as well as, self-destructive behaviors such as substance abuse, academic decline, defiance, lack of motivation, and poor family and peer relationships. Attending a wilderness therapy program is a pre-requisite for enrollment.

INPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Residential Inpatient treatment in Bend usually consists of 24 hour care at a live-in facility. Full treatment services, including medical and behavioral therapy are provided all at one location near Bend.
Medical supervision is generally placed over each resident. In drug treatment centers, clients can detox safely. In eating disorder centers in Bend, residential programs enable effective monitoring of the client's health during the treatment program.
Inpatient care offers a structured atmosphere and allows the client and providers to focus on physical and psychological healing.
OUTPATIENT TREATMENT: WHAT'S INVOLVED?
Outpatient treatment programs in Bend or clinics provide flexibility to those who are unable to take time away from their regular lives, work or school. Programs typically meet at the clinic a couple of times every week for a few hours at a time.
Because clients are living away from the centers, outpatient facilities in Bend are less able to focus on medical conditions and nutritional needs.
Certain programs provide a combination of the in/out approach: Inpatient for medical stabilization, partial hospitalization for moderate cases, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient clinics for follow-up.
