Mount Regis Center is a residential behavioral health treatment center that provides care for adults who are suffering from substance use disorders, including addictions to alcohol, opioids, meth, and prescription drugs. Our residential program also serves adults whose struggles with addiction are accompanied by co-occurring mental health conditions, including posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety. In our residential program, clients can take part in an array of therapeutic interventions that give them the opportunity to reflect on their experiences, explore possible reasons why they may have started using drugs or alcohol, and learn coping skills that can help prevent future relapse. They may participate in group, individual, family, and experiential therapies, and they also have access to medication management services, detoxification services, and 24/7 medical care. The average length of stay at Mount Regis Center is 30-35 days.

Clinch Valley Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Cedar Bluff, Virginia, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to opioids like heroin and prescription painkillers. MAT combines prescription medication with counseling and is an evidence-based treatment for opioid addiction. In the past, traditional methadone clinics only offered one kind of medication. However, patients who receive care at our CTC may get a prescription for Suboxone, naltrexone, buprenorphine, or methadone. These medications help alleviate the painful symptoms of opioid withdrawal so that people can actively engage in the recovery process without distraction. However, medication alone cannot address the social, emotional, and behavioral aspects of opioid addiction, which is why MAT also includes individual and group counseling. Our compassionate and trained professionals lead these counseling sessions, providing crucial support for patients as they make the necessary lifestyle changes for long-term recovery.

Our integrated approach treats the trauma and attachment wounds underlying teen mental health and behavioral issues, such as anxiety, depression, and trauma/PTSD. We address these root causes through comprehensive, solution-focused treatment that involves the entire family in the healing process. At Life Center of Galax, we provide a premier partial hospitalization program (PHP) for people who are in need of structured care for behavioral health concerns that have impacted their ability to function in their daily lives. In our PHP, we deliver evidence-based, life-changing treatment for those who are struggling with substance use disorders and certain co-occurring concerns. This addiction treatment program can be beneficial for adults age 18 and older who do not require 24-hour supervision or live-in care to achieve their goals. Our PHP typically takes an average of 10-21 days to complete, but each patient’s actual length of programming depends on their needs. Adults may enter this program directly or as a step-down to a less restrictive level of care from an inpatient or residential setting. In some cases, a person may step up to our PHP when traditional outpatient services cannot provide them with the support they need.
