In our inpatient programming, we offer intensive support for people who have acute symptoms of a number of behavioral health concerns, such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, dementia, psychosis, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Those who participate in our inpatient programming can benefit from the combined experience of our expert team, which includes psychiatrists, social workers, therapists, registered nurses, activity coordinators, and dietitians. This team works with each patient to design an individualized treatment plan that is based on the patient’s background and therapeutic goals. Treatment plans at StoneCrest Center may include individual and family therapy sessions as needed as well as daily group therapy sessions. We also provide recreational therapies, such as pet, art, and music therapies. The typical length of stay in our adult inpatient program is around 11-14 days.

We offer intensive support in a safe setting for people who have acute symptoms of a variety of behavioral health concerns. These concerns include depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), bipolar disorder, self-harm, and psychosis. When you participate in our quality behavioral healthcare programming, you will follow a customized treatment plan, which our staff will create for you based on your unique needs and therapeutic goals. Additionally, when you participate in adult inpatient treatment, you will have the support of a multidisciplinary team of professionals. At our hospital, your care team can include psychiatrists, social workers, counselors, registered nurses, a psychologist, and other experts and program staff. The typical length of stay in our adult inpatient program is about five to seven days, though your actual length of stay may vary depending on your needs and the progress you make during treatment.

Harbor Oaks Hospital offers a premier inpatient program for children and adolescents ages 4-17 who are struggling with disruptive symptoms of mental health concerns. In the pediatric inpatient program, we provide separate units for children and teens, including a specialized inpatient pediatric unit (SIPU) for those who have an autism spectrum disorder or intellectual disability diagnosis. The average length of stay in the inpatient program is seven to 10 days, although patients in the SIPU may require a longer length of stay, typically 14-28 days. We strive to meet each young person where they are on their journey to improved wellness, providing them with the focused support and age-appropriate services they need to get well. During treatment, our patients receive evidence-based care that can include cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy. For this reason, we work closely with our patients to determine the program duration that gives them enough time to build a solid foundation for wellness.
