Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is a 104-bed residential facility which offers inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation services. Our expansive building is newly renovated, modern and appealing, offering an array of amenities and a true hotel-like experience. Set on 7.74 acres of picturesque and secluded property, Avenues at Eastern Shore provides the ideal setting for clients to heal, re-connect and re-discover themselves. Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick is a 48-bed residential facility which offers drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Newly remodeled, fresh and inviting, our expansive building brings all services under one roof and gives clients a five-star experience as they begin their recovery. Our unparalleled medical and clinical team are on call 24/7 to respond to every need, and consistently provide care in the most dignified and compassionate manner possible. Embark Behavioral Health is a leading network of exceptional treatment and therapy programs across the United States. We specialize in preteens, teens, and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, and other mental health and substance abuse issues. Our programs include in-home treatment, virtual coaching and counseling, outpatient clinics that offer intensive outpatient programs (IOPs) and therapeutic day treatment programs, also known as a partial hospitalization program (PHPs), wilderness therapy, short-term residential treatment programs, long-term residential treatment, therapeutic boarding schools, and young adult transitional living options.

Newport Academy’s Virginia location offers treatment for boys between the ages of 12-17. Our integrated approach treats the trauma and attachment wounds underlying teen mental health and behavioral issues, such as anxiety, depression, & eating disorders. We address these root causes through comprehensive, solution-focused treatment that involves the entire family in the healing process. To support our teens and their families in achieving long-term, sustainable healing, our clinical model takes into account every aspect of a teen’s well-being—physical, psychological, relational, educational, and spiritual—so they can thrive when they return home to their families, schools, and communities. Moreover, we are committed to ongoing research on the efficacy of our treatment. To ensure that our care is truly evidence-based, we track a variety of treatment goals and commission rigorous third-party evaluations of our programming. Data gathered on our outcomes using industry-approved measurement tools shows consistent positive results in measures of well-being, depression, and anxiety, with patients’ improvements, on average, exceeding levels of clinical significance.

We work with most major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested provider-to-provider calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the maximum coverage, so they can access the highest-quality treatment.
