Our program has three different levels of treatment to provide support through our continuum of care: Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, and Outpatient Program. While most addiction centers provide clinical therapy as well as medical assistance, the length of stay does not provide the time needed to uncover the underlying causes and conditions of substance use disorder. However, at NEATC, our team of therapists, medical doctors, and clinicians will help you unearth the underlying causes of your substance use. The Triangle Program at Arbour-HRI Hospital offers both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). Services include short-term intensive group therapy geared towards the unique mental health needs of the adult LGBTQIAA+ population. Common issues addressed include, but are not limited to, mood instability, stress, anxiety, depression, disorganized thinking, trauma, co-occurring addictions, and gender dysphoria. Participants attend group therapy sessions, meet with a clinician for individual counseling and case management needs, and a psychiatric prescriber for medication management. For all of the PHPs at Arbour-HRI Hospital, breakfast and lunch are provided as a part of the program. As well, participants can be supported in securing transportation within a ten-mile radius to and from the program. Requests for transportation services must be made after the initial intake.

For 40 years, Sameem has treated Substance Use Disorder, trauma, anxiety, stress, depression, and other disorders in adolescents and adults at our offices in Newton, Massachusetts. Programs at this clinic for adults include: Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Adult Binge Eating Disorder Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), Adult Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Programs at this clinic for adolescents include: Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP).

The Hospital for Behavioral Medicine (HBM) offers innovative inpatient services for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Inpatient services focus on crisis stabilization, medication management, group treatment and discharge/transition planning. Our dedicated staff of doctors, nurses, case managers, and mental health technicians are committed to providing the highest quality of patient care, bringing creativity, expressive arts, and best practices to manage and reduce unsafe behaviors.

At Lake Avenue Recovery, we guide people down a comprehensive Addiction Recovery Path that includes a Day Treatment Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, Evening Treatment Program and an Outpatient Program. Our medical and clinical directors guide individuals through an assessment to determine which drug and alcohol treatment fits best. The assessment is predicated on the American Society of Addiction Medicine’s placement criteria, the most widely used and comprehensive set of guidelines for placement, continued stay and transfer/discharge of patients with addiction and co-occurring conditions. ASAM’s criteria are required in over 30 states. ASAM’s criteria uses six dimensions to create a holistic, biopsychosocial assessment of an individual to be used for planning and treatment across all levels of care.
