Wings Recovery is a residential treatment center for women located in San Diego. We offer intensive treatment in a small, private setting. We specialize in treating women with trauma, dissociative disorders, addiction issues, self harm and general mental health issues. Throughout the duration of treatment you will be living at our residential treatment center and receive 24 hour care. Wings Recovery was developed by a doctor and therapist to provide the highest level of care and healing. Wings Recovery emphasizes a safe and empowering community, fostering healing through individual therapy, group therapy, EMDR and other trauma-focused therapies, medication management, nutrition services, vocational support, yoga, creative arts groups, mindfulness and therapeutic outings.

We treat all mental health and substance use issues at Roots, with a focus on trauma. Whether you're dealing with depression, anxiety, alcoholism or drug abuse, we believe that underneath these issues is unresolved trauma. For many, this trauma may have come as a result of adverse childhood experiences, such as divorce, abuse or neglect, observing violence or being the victim of bullying; while for others, it could be a more recent experience. Our goal is to identify and treat the trauma through our trauma-focused care, build resilience, and provide tools and healthy coping skills to help deal with triggers and future issues that arise. The result of doing this work is a reduction in depression and anxiety symptoms, suicidal ideation, and no longer needing to turn to alcohol or substances to cope with feelings triggered by trauma.

We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many adolescents who receive treatment from Newport Academy using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Pure Mental Health Program is a physician operated mental health residential program located in the most luxurious neighborhood of Long Beach. We specialize in the treatment of moderate to severe psychiatric problems. Our scientific, patient-centered approach has earned us the trust of families looking for mental health help for a loved one. We also have a special relationship with hard working local Longshoreman and their families who have put their trust in our hands for many years. We deal with all mental health disorders and utilize a multidisciplinary team approach. Our goal is for our clients to achieve long term independent and successful functioning. Casa Serena is a treatment center designed to help women recover from substance abuse and co-occurring illnesses. We treat women who are struggling with addictions to alcohol, opioids, methamphetamines, prescription pills, marijuana, benzodiazepines, club drugs. Our program also treats the following co-occurring disorders: depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma/PTSD, grief and loss issues, underlying eating disorders, borderline personality disorder, anxiety, and panic disorder. Casa Serena also has a top-rated family program to teach families of addicts how to support their loved ones’ recovery process, while providing them the tools they need for their own recovery.

Newport Institute provides options for young adults and families at each step along the journey of healing. Our full continuum of care includes residential treatment centers; a full suite of outpatient programming, with Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient services with a flexible number of days per week; continuing care through virtual sessions; and a robust Alumni program providing online and in-person events and support groups. CARF-accredited and easily accessible from the 405 and 90 with ample parking, LAOP provides comprehensive, personalized programming that combines individual and group therapy using innovative, creative, and therapeutic treatment methods.
