We use research-based treatments to help our patients with drug addiction, alcohol addiction, and mental and behavioral health issues. Under the guidance of our chief medical officer, our programs are made up of addiction professionals including physicians, registered nurses, licensed marriage and family therapists, social workers, psychologists, and psychiatrists. We work with most major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many young adults who receive treatment from Newport Institute using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Institute maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested provider-to-provider calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the maximum coverage, so they can access the highest-quality treatment.

Turning Point of Tampa is located in Tampa, Florida. We provide affordable Detox, Residential, Day Treatment and Intensive Outpatient Treatment services for addiction, eating disorders and dual diagnosis. We follow a 12-Step addiction model and are licensed by the Department of Children and Families and Accredited by the Joint Commission. Emphasis is placed on the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the whole person encouraging "Recovery Through Responsibility." We treat alcoholism, poly substance use disorder, specifically opiates, heroin, benzodiazepines, amphetamines, marijuana and illicit drugs, including synthetic designer drugs. When a client completes treatment at Turning Point of Tampa they are invited to a free after-care group on Wednesday nights, therapist facilitated. This is an open ended group and clients attend as long as they choose to.

Revelare Recovery is a Women’s PHP & IOP program designed to address co-occurring diagnoses of an Eating Disorder (ED) alongside a secondary Substance Use Disorder (SUD) or Mental Health diagnosis. It operates at the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) levels of care. One important aspect of this program is that it provides supportive housing for clients who reside outside of the Atlanta market. This housing arrangement ensures that clients have a safe and structured environment during their treatment period. Our supportive housing program consists of two phases: Phase 1, which lasts for 30 days and is conducted primarily in the PHP setting, and Phase 2, which lasts an additional 30 days and takes place primarily in the IOP setting. The program specifcally caters to women, recognizing their unique needs in the context of EDs and co-occurring disorders.
