Dana Behavioral Health provides a multidisciplinary approach to behavioral health care. For over 30 years, we have treated children, adolescents, adults, and older adults providing group, couple, and individual psychotherapy; medication management; TMS Therapy, EMDR Therapy, Music Therapy, Nutrition & Wellness, and neuropsychological testing. Southcoast Behavioral Health offers a clinically excellent inpatient program for adults age 18 and older who have mental health concerns and co-occurring addictions. We treat mental health concerns like anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, posttraumatic stress disorder, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. In addition, we provide care for adults who are suffering from co-occurring addictions to substances like alcohol, benzodiazepines, heroin, and prescription painkillers. In our inpatient program, our goal is to help patients who are experiencing mental health crises stabilize so that they can return home or step down to a lower level of care. Patients in our adult inpatient program stay with us on average for five to seven days, though the exact length of stay depends on their progress and needs. Our patients can benefit from the collective experience of our care team, which includes physicians, registered nurses, nurse practitioners, social workers, therapists, and clinicians.
