The program addresses low self-esteem, shame, fear, trust issues, trauma, and depression as well as addictive disorders. When trauma, fears, and other psychological barriers inhibit women from connecting with others in a healthy way, sobriety and healthy living become even more challenging to achieve. However, when women learn to trust one another and build a loving and supportive community, that community can form a strong base for individual healing and recovery. This is the first step in a journey of recovery from mental health or substance abuse issues. Women are part of a powerful community that addresses the issues impacting them, identify what needs to change and how to grow, and then practicing and learning to live in a more deliberate and effective way.

We offer VIVITROL® (naltrexone) injections and specialize in Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP), an evidence-based treatment that allows you to live at home and continue with work, school, and childcare, while at the same time receiving treatment for moderate and severe drug and alcohol use disorders. Experts Dr. Rob Weiss and Dr. David Fawcett have collaborated to create a comprehensive treatment program to treat men (18 years and older) with sex/porn addiction/intimacy disorders or with co-occurring sex addiction and chemical dependency (alcohol, stimulants, cannabis, other chemicals). Unlike other programs, SI: LA truly treats paired sex addiction and chemical dependency. Often addicts struggle with relapse as their paired addiction behaviors are not addressed in treatment/therapy. For some men, chronic infidelity is hurting their relationship and yet they can't stop. For men who have recently discovered that they have an issue with sex addiction/intimacy disorders or who have had some period of recovery but have relapse(s), the SI: LA program provides an solid foundation of recovery in a 14 day program. For those needing trauma healing or additional time, there is an opportunity to extend for another 7 or 14 days.

We believe that each individual is unique. Consequently, each treatment plan and metamorphosis in recovery must be unique, too. As we work to recreate joy and to instill patience, self-awareness, and responsibility in those who are suffering from addiction, we understand and address the specific intricacies of each individual's history. Each personalized care plan will include specialized therapies suited to your background and progress in recovery. At The Refuge, A Healing Place, we provide residential programming for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with substance use disorders, eating disorders, and mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and self-harming behaviors. Treatment in our adult residential program typically lasts a minimum of 30 days, but a client's unique needs and circumstances determine their actual length of stay. Clients in residential treatment receive personalized care to aid in their healing journeys. Treatment is delivered by an expert team that is comprised of counselors, psychologists, psychiatrists, registered dietitians, medical doctors, registered nurses, certified nursing assistants, equine therapists, and certified trauma therapists. We strive to treat clients with empathy and respect while encouraging them to pursue happier, healthier lives.

Seacrest Recovery Center is a DCF-accredited and Joint Commission (JCAHO) Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment Center .
