At Evolve Woodland Hills, we provide premier evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance use, dual diagnosis, ADHD, self-harming, high-risk behaviors, suicidality, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder, and other behavioral issues. We believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored, and our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of your child or teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry sessions; groups on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, and Seeking Safety, as well as daily academic support. Teens also participate in experiential therapies proven to support recovery (e.g. equine, surf, art, drama, music, fitness, cooking, yoga, etc.) as well as 12-Step programs for those struggling with substance use/dual diagnosis. At Evolve Woodland Hills, we have rigorous protocols in place to ensure your child’s safety at all times. Our staff-to-patient ratio is 3:1-one of the highest ratios in adolescent treatment centers. Additionally, our licensed, full-time therapists carry a caseload of no more than 3 patients at any given time. This enables your child to receive the highly individualized attention they need for optimal recovery. In addition to our licensed therapists, our treatment team includes a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, on-site nurses, residential counselors and 24-hour support staff. Our specialized, trained staff are available to provide in-the-moment, face-to-face skills coaching and crisis support for your teen 24/7. We maintain strict line-of-sight and line-of-hearing policies, utilize state-of-the-art monitoring technology, and offer 1:1 supervision as needed. Serving only 6 teens at any given time, Evolve Woodland Hills is suitable for teens with substance use disorder, mental health concerns, and dual diagnosis—whether they’re stepping down from inpatient, or as a step-up option for teens requiring a higher level of care than PHP or IOP. Prior to admission, our licensed Admissions Clinician conducts a detailed phone assessment to ensure our treatment center is appropriate for your teen. Throughout the duration of treatment, our discharge coordinator works closely with your child’s therapists on a detailed aftercare and relapse-prevention plan to ensure a smooth transition back home. Our home in Southern CA features comfortable accommodations, ample green space, a swimming pool, dedicated therapy and school areas, fully-equipped gym, and an onsite chef.
