PPSC is an innovative, low cost treatment center, served by highly skilled clinicians who provide affordable services to New Yorkers of every social and cultural origin for over twenty years. The PPSC Treatment Service is a source of help for addressing a wide range of emotional problems including anxiety, depression, relationship and work issues and is unique in its particular sensitivity to gender, work-life, lifestyle, age-related, creative and ethnic issues. At PPSC, our professional staff will help you decide if therapy is right for you and take care to arrange the best possible match between therapist and patient.
Scheduling is flexible. We are focused on being convenient to you, the patient. Morning, lunch hour, afternoon, evening and weekend appointments are available and the number of sessions is not limited. Our offices are quiet, confidential and intimate spaces following a private practice model. While our main office is located on the corner of 5th avenue and 14th street, other locations are available close to your home, business or school, including spaces in Greenwich Village, Soho, Upper West Side, Midtown, Upper East Side, Tribeca, and more.
Fees for therapy at PPSC are set according to a sliding scale based on ability to pay and other factors. Fees for your session will be determined in discussion with the assigned therapist. All PPSC practitioners are credentialed therapists with post-graduate training in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis treatment approaches. PPSC also has therapists with special experience in addictions treatment, including problems such as eating disorders, substance use, compulsive behaviors, and more.
