IOP Services provides intensive group therapy to adults. We are the an independent, clinician owned mental health IOP in North Carolina. We do not provide care to individuals whose primary current problem is a substance abuse disorder. There are many options for their care. IOP provides intensive therapy 3 hours per day, 3 days a week. Group therapy is the foundation of IOP. Group has been well established as an effective treatment approach for 80 years. The interpersonal experience of group is supplemented and enriched with instructional material, psychiatric education and a variety of evidenced based approaches. Most clients continue their regular individual therapy schedule while in IOP. Enrollment is not determined by a diagnosis but rather by how problems are interfering in your life.
