Opioid addiction can negatively impact virtually every part of a person’s life. In addition to damaging a person’s physical and mental health, an untreated opioid addiction can also undermine their ability to maintain healthy relationships, make appropriate progress in school or at work, establish financial independence, and otherwise fully engage in a satisfying lifestyle. Thankfully, opioid addiction is a treatable condition. Several decades of research has documented the effectiveness of medication-assisted treatment, or MAT, in helping people end their opioid use and remain in recovery. MAT uses prescription medications that can ease some of the more severe symptoms of opioid withdrawal. These medications allow MAT patients to stop using opioids without experiencing the overwhelming distress that would occur if they tried to end their substance abuse on their own. MAT patients also participate in counseling. The counseling component of MAT addresses the social and behavioral aspects of opioid addiction and recovery. Counseling can help MAT patients understand the root causes of their struggles with opioid addiction and identify triggers that could threaten their recovery.

Serenity Springs Recovery Center (Since 2012) is regarded as Florida's best drug & alcohol treatment center for men. Historically, high success rates within the substance abuse industry depend on three important modalities: 1. GENDER SPECIFIC: The opposite sex can be a distraction and tends to inhibit vulnerability in the male population. In a gender-specific setting men are more inclined to shed their armor and get open and honest. 2. DURATION OF STAY: Length of stay is based on an individual's history, presenting problems, and progress in treatment. We don't keep a client a day too long or discharge a day too early. With our continuing care program, clients may remain engaged with our team indefinitely. CENSUS SIZE: Our small, intimate, 20-bed facility creates a sense of community. This allows us to ensure deep, clinical work, as well as true, individualized care. At Serenity Springs you will NEVER get "lost in the shuffle." We are a family, not a corporation. The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the highest level of care available at RSCT and meets (9am to 1pm M-F). The Day Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) (9 - Noon M-Th) and the Evening IOP (6 - 9 pm M-Th) and PHP afford Clients the ability to continue to work and take care of family responsibilities while engaging in more intensive substance abuse treatment. Treatment is tailored to individualized needs and the range of services includes individual and group therapy; alcohol and drug education; relapse prevention; family therapy and ongoing after-care.

Outpatient detoxification from alcohol or drugs allows clients to continue fulfilling their professional, educational, and family responsibilities while detoxing from the comfort of their own home. Those interested in outpatient detox are thoroughly assessed by our medical team that specializes in addiction treatment. After undergoing a thorough assessment, clients receive recommendations based upon their unique circumstances and ability to function outside of a medically monitored treatment setting. Outpatient detox is not appropriate for everyone and clients will be thoroughly assessed.

The Hopewell Health IOP for Adolescents program is an Intensive Outpatient Program three hour program (5pm-8pm) four days a week (Monday- Thursday) for adolescents aged 12 to 18 and their families. The IOP format allows the adolescent to live at home and attend their current school while engaging in structured therapeutic activities and services. We work with all adolescents struggling with difficult behaviors such as self-injury, behavioral issues, and suicidal ideation as well as significant mood and anxiety disorders. Because every adolescent is unique, we develop an individualized treatment plan designed to meet the precise needs of each patient and family. While DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) is the core of Hopewell Health IOP, we incorporate a number of other treatment modalities, such as integration of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, coaching, yoga, music, and art therapies, and hands-on experiential activities.

Effective Mental Health Treatment for Teens with Fully-Accredited Academic Support: Located in beautiful Mid-Coast, Maine, Ironwood is a licensed residential mental health treatment center and fully accredited school designed specifically for adolescents, ages 13-17. Our program offers intensive therapy along with customized and accredited academics via three interconnected programs focused on stabilization and assessment, treatment, and transition. Ironwood’s broad program structure and modalities, which include equine therapy, horseback/equestrian, outdoor experiential learning, family involvement, and more, meet the needs of teens requiring treatment for emotional and behavioral issues in conjunction with a safe, therapeutic learning environment.

BlueSky Behavioral Health delivers comprehensive mental health and substance abuse counseling, helping our clients recover from a wide range of diagnoses in both partial-hospitalization and outpatient settings. For clients who enter our Enhanced Treatment Program we offer a unique opportunity to focus on their therapy and recovery while living in a short-term furnished apartment and their own Life Coach.
