Beloit Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services for adults age 18 and older who are battling opioid addictions. Located in Beloit, Wisconsin, our treatment center is a warm, welcoming space for people who are seeking recovery. MAT is a comprehensive approach that incorporates the use of medication, individual counseling, and group therapy to address the mental and physical aspects of addiction. Traditional methadone clinics offer just one type of medication. Because we are able to offer a variety of options, including methadone, buprenorphine, Suboxone, and naltrexone, we can meet the needs of more patients. Our team creates an individualized treatment plan for each patient and selects the best medication for them. Outpatient (Level 1) and intensive outpatient (Level 2) services vary in intensity and duration. Generally clients who attend outpatient treatment attend individual sessions once a week and group session 1-3 times per week, whereas individuals who attend intensive outpatient treatment see a counselor for a weekly individual session and attend group 3-4 evenings per week. Each treatment program is designed to help individuals develop the structure and tools necessary to begin recovery from their substance use disorder. Ecker Center employs an integrative approach, utilizing evidence-based therapy practices that include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Seeking Safety, Matrix Model, Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Contingency Management. For many clients who are dealing with a primary mental health/mental illness, we approach their treatment focused on their co-occurring disorders and focus on both issues concurrently. We are approved to provide treatment to clients who are involved in the Court systems in Cook, DuPage, Kane and McHenry Counties. Our women's program also has childcare for women in treatment.

The Ascension Center for Mental Health (formerly Alexian Brothers) in Arlington Heights, offers an array of outpatient services.Individual therapy is available for children, adolescents and adults, including couples and family therapy. Other services include medication management with a psychiatrist, case management services, vocational rehabilitation, supported education and transitional and supportive living arrangements. In addition, for those whose symptoms are increasing, we offer an alternative to an in-patient hospitalization. Our Partial Hospitalization Program/Intensive Outpatient Program consists of a small group program daily from 9-3 for approximately three weeks, individual therapy and medication evaluation and monitoring.
