The philosophy of New Beginnings is a multifaceted and collaborative approach based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Using true client centered methods, interventions and treatments are tailored to focus on patterns of thinking that are maladaptive and the beliefs that undermine such thinking. Detox is the process of getting the drugs or alcohol out of the system and treating any uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms that may occur. The amount of time a client remains in our detox varies on a number of factors. These includes the severity of the dependency or addiction, what amounts of certain drugs are in the system, the type of drug and how long it takes to get medically stabilized. Medical detoxification involves administering and prescribing a series of medications to help minimize withdrawal and cravings, and constant assessment from medical professionals.

Recovery Ways Intensive Outpatient Program, or IOP, offers addiction & mental health treatment that empowers patients to function more independently and responsibly, while preparing them and providing the skills and abilities to lead successful lives in their communities. Recovery Ways Intensive Outpatient Program is designed to cater to your daily routine and career, preventing periods of absence from your job and daily obligations. We provide comprehensive services for those who are assessed as being able to participate successfully in regularly scheduled outpatient visits and who are not at medical risk. A licensed therapist will perform an assessment and help you design an individualized and unique program that fits your needs. Your personalized, outpatient addiction program will include a weekly commitment to attend three Recovery Ways evening or morning group therapy sessions. There is also a family program and you will be introduced to local 12-step groups.

We focus on helping postpartum and pregnant mothers feel better mentally through different levels of therapy catered to mom's needs. The program addresses postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, scary thoughts you might be afraid to share, intrusive thoughts, feeling irritable, worthless, coping, and thoughts of harming yourself or feeling like family is better off without you. We want all mothers to know that what your feeling is common but not normal and it can be treatable. All mothers will have direct access to our qualified staff of therapists and medical personnel for medication management while attending our unique program. At Youth Care Treatment Center, we understand that adolescents have unique needs when it comes to behavioral health treatment. At our campus, we offer age-appropriate care through our adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) in Draper, Utah. We provide treatment for young people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), conduct disorders, and attachment disorders. Adolescents ages 13-18 can participate in our PHP and receive targeted therapeutic interventions for nine hours per day, five days per week. This treatment option is ideal for young people who don’t require round-the-clock residential care but would still benefit from intensive therapies. At Youth Care, we understand that every young person's healing journey is unique. Therefore, we believe in personalizing their treatment plan as much as possible. Every adolescent’s experience is different, but most young people participate in our PHP for four to five months. In our PHP, adolescents can engage in several different therapies, such as individual therapy up to three times a week, family therapy once a week, and daily group therapies.
