We provide clinically-driven Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for those struggling with Opioid Use Disorder and have done so successfully for the last 38 years. We offer maintenance & outpatient detox, coupled with group and individual counseling. Our programs help clients gain control over their substance use disorders and learn alternatives to their behaviors. ATCNE has a strong focus on providing "total treatment." Medication is one part of treatment, but education and support are seen as equally important. We recognize the need to treat substance use holistically- addressing your medical, physical, emotional and social realms. The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) service at McLean Hospital is dedicated to providing treatment for patients with severe depression, especially those diagnosed with treatment-resistant depression (people who have not felt relief from prescription medication for depression or those who have experienced side-effects). TMS is offered at both the McLean Hospital main campus in Belmont and at McLean Southeast in Middleborough. TMS is non-invasive and requires no anesthesia or sedation. There are no restrictions on work or other activities before the treatment, and because there are no systemic effects or cognitive after-effects (memory difficulty or ability to concentrate), patients can return immediately to their regular activities. TMS uses magnetic pulses to stimulate nerve cells in the prefrontal cortex of the brain. The procedure typically lasts less than an hour and patients remain awake, alert, and comfortable. Patients typically receive 20 to 30 treatments over four to six weeks (five times per week). The course of treatment will vary according to each individual and will be guided by an initial assessment.

We offer didactic and process oriented groups designed to work with adolescents who are struggling with depression and anxiety, self injury and self worth and parent skills and support groups to provide an understanding, compassionate place for parents to learn and practice parenting effectiveness and self care. Our group-based practice was founded upon the fundamental belief that adolescents and family systems work best in a positive, strength-based approach. We utilize CBT and DBT principles and our clinicians share 50+ years of experience working directly with adolescents and parents. All groups are virtual and co-lead, providing group-specific curriculum treating no more than 10 clients in each group. Homework is provided to reinforce learning between sessions and all clients receive a one-to-one intake to evaluate that each client is appropriate for the group sessions
