We offer residential treatment and boarding schools for teenage girls ages 14-18 in Utah and throughout the United States. We help to empower your child with the skills to heal from life's traumas and give families a chance to move forward together. With an emphasis on family-focused treatment, we help adolescent and teen girls overcome difficult mental health challenges through family-focused therapy and create lasting change that heals and empowers young women.

Our program and therapists treat maternal all perinatal mood and anxiety disorders related to childbirth. We focus on helping postpartum and pregnant mothers feel better mentally through different levels of therapy catered to mom's needs. The program addresses postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, scary thoughts you might be afraid to share, intrusive thoughts, feeling irritable, worthless, coping, and thoughts of harming yourself or feeling like family is better off without you. We want all mothers to know that what your feeling is common but not normal and it can be treatable. All mothers will have direct access to our qualified staff of therapists and medical personnel for medication management while attending our unique program. The mothers will learn and master skills to help them overcome their challenges, connect with their child and partner, and feel “back to normal.”

Sunrise is a group of residential treatment centers for adolescent and teen girls in Utah. Teenage girls come to Sunrise to find healing as they learn to regulate their emotions and successfully manage daily life tasks with increased independence – all while continuing their education. Sunrise’s treatment programs are strength-based, working closely with each student to develop strengths and harness her gifts, passions, and talents. Their vision is for every Sunrise girl to have a life of emotional balance and independence.

Detox is the process of getting the drugs or alcohol out of the system and treating any uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms that may occur. The amount of time a client remains in our detox varies on a number of factors. These includes the severity of the dependency or addiction, what amounts of certain drugs are in the system, the type of drug and how long it takes to get medically stabilized. Medical detoxification involves administering and prescribing a series of medications to help minimize withdrawal and cravings, and constant assessment from medical professionals.

Advanced Awareness Counseling, is a DHS licensed Outpatient Mental Health facility and group private practice. Our qualified mental health providers have been selected for their outstanding educational credentials, experience in the field, client care principles, and high integrity and experience in their particular fields of specialty. At Youth Care Treatment Center, we understand that adolescents have unique needs when it comes to behavioral health treatment. At our campus, we offer age-appropriate care through our adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) in Draper, Utah. We provide treatment for young people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), conduct disorders, and attachment disorders. Adolescents ages 13-18 can participate in our PHP and receive targeted therapeutic interventions for nine hours per day, five days per week. This treatment option is ideal for young people who don’t require round-the-clock residential care but would still benefit from intensive therapies. At Youth Care, we understand that every young person's healing journey is unique. Therefore, we believe in personalizing their treatment plan as much as possible. Every adolescent’s experience is different, but most young people participate in our PHP for four to five months. In our PHP, adolescents can engage in several different therapies, such as individual therapy up to three times a week, family therapy once a week, and daily group therapies.
