Sunrise is a group of residential treatment centers for adolescent and teen girls in Utah. Teenage girls come to Sunrise to find healing as they learn to regulate their emotions and successfully manage daily life tasks with increased independence – all while continuing their education. Sunrise’s treatment programs are strength-based, working closely with each student to develop strengths and harness her gifts, passions, and talents. Their vision is for every Sunrise girl to have a life of emotional balance and independence.

At Youth Care Treatment Center, we understand that adolescents have unique needs when it comes to behavioral health treatment. At our campus, we offer age-appropriate care through our adolescent partial hospitalization program (PHP) in Draper, Utah. We provide treatment for young people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), conduct disorders, and attachment disorders. Adolescents ages 13-18 can participate in our PHP and receive targeted therapeutic interventions for nine hours per day, five days per week. This treatment option is ideal for young people who don’t require round-the-clock residential care but would still benefit from intensive therapies. At Youth Care, we understand that every young person's healing journey is unique. Therefore, we believe in personalizing their treatment plan as much as possible. Every adolescent’s experience is different, but most young people participate in our PHP for four to five months. In our PHP, adolescents can engage in several different therapies, such as individual therapy up to three times a week, family therapy once a week, and daily group therapies.

The philosophy of New Beginnings is a multifaceted and collaborative approach based on Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Using true client centered methods, interventions and treatments are tailored to focus on patterns of thinking that are maladaptive and the beliefs that undermine such thinking. Our treatment process is two fold: (1) helping our clients make true internal change through exploring and healing emotional scars, while (2) helping our clients extinguish and replace overt behaviors through external modification, resulting in the overall corrective emotional experience.

Center for Change is a place of hope and healing that is committed to helping those suffering from eating disorders break free and fully recover. The Center offers intensive treatment for eating disorders and co-occurring issues, including a specialty program for co-occurring diabetes (ED-DMT1), and provides a full continuum of care: Inpatient, Residential, Partial Hospitalization Program, Intensive Outpatient Program, and Outpatient therapeutic and dietary services. At Youth Care Treatment Center in Draper, Utah, we provide clinically excellent residential treatment for adolescents ages 11-18 who are suffering from mental health conditions and substance use concerns. We serve young people who have anxiety, depression, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), reactive attachment disorder (RAD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Students can enter this level of care directly, and each person receives a customized treatment plan to guide their time with us. We understand the unique developmental needs of children and teens, and our age-appropriate programming is designed to help adolescents build a strong foundation for healing. Each student’s length of stay in our residential program depends on their response to treatment, cooperation, and overall goals. However, most students remain in our residential program for four to five months.

The program addresses postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, scary thoughts you might be afraid to share, intrusive thoughts, feeling irritable, worthless, coping, and thoughts of harming yourself or feeling like family is better off without you. We want all mothers to know that what your feeling is common but not normal and it can be treatable. All mothers will have direct access to our qualified staff of therapists and medical personnel for medication management while attending our unique program. The mothers will learn and master skills to help them overcome their challenges, connect with their child and partner, and feel “back to normal.”
