At Rebound Behavioral Health, located in Lancaster, South Carolina, we offer a full continuum of addiction treatment that includes a medically assisted detoxification, or detox, program. We provide detox programming for adults age 18 and older who are struggling with addictions to substances like meth, alcohol, benzos, and opioids. Our detox program can help clients rid their bodies of harmful substances without putting their comfort and safety at risk. The uncomfortable symptoms that can occur during withdrawal can discourage some people from going through the detox process. However, it is an essential first step in the recovery journey, and our professionals can help make the experience less overwhelming. Our goal is to help stabilize clients, offer them emotional support, and prepare them for the next phase of addiction treatment. We want our clients to build a strong foundation for recovery whether they continue to another program at our hospital or go to a different facility for care. What To Expect
Our leading detox program in Lancaster is designed to help ensure our clients’ comfort and safety after they stop using a substance so that they don’t experience painful symptoms of withdrawal. The detox program is different for each person depending on their background, their current health, and the substance they’ve been using. We offer full detox services at our hospital. Our clients can take advantage of working with the many professionals that make up the detox care team at Rebound Behavioral Health. These professionals include psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and other behavioral health staff. Members of our team are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to monitor our clients’ needs. The average length of stay in our detox program is between five and seven days for clients who are in inpatient care but can be longer for those who are participating in our outpatient program. If appropriate, clients can participate in therapeutic programming during their time in our detox program. Admissions
We know how overwhelming it can be to search for the right detox program for yourself or a loved one. At Rebound Behavioral Health, we try to eliminate any obstacles that can delay someone from getting the treatment they need. Our admissions counselors are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to help you begin the intake process. We know that detox services are often an urgent need, and we make every effort to move through the admissions process quickly, but we are also careful to gather all the information necessary to create a personalized treatment plan for each new client. Typically, when someone arrives at our treatment center, they receive a medical screening and an assessment to determine the level of care that may best meet their needs. If you have questions about the detoxification process and what it includes, our team of experts will take the time to address your concerns so that you can begin treatment with confidence. In addition to self-referrals, we welcome referrals from sources including mobile crisis teams, former clients, senior living facilities, group homes, hospitals, and mental health professionals.
