At Evolve, we provide the highest caliber of evidence-based residential treatment for adolescents 12-17 struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, self-harming or high-risk behaviors, suicidality, aggression, defiance, trauma, and other emotional/behavioral issues. Our primary modes of treatment are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. At Evolve Lafayette, we believe treatment works best when it is individually tailored. Our clinical staff conducts a comprehensive evaluation of each teen pre- and post-admission in order to develop a customized, highly detailed treatment plan that is constantly updated based on treatment progress. Our robust clinical program includes individual and family therapy at least 5 times a week; weekly psychiatry; daily groups (on DBT Skills Training, Anger Management, Relapse Prevention, Life Skills, Healthy Relationships, and Seeking Safety); and daily academic support. Families from out-of-state participate in family therapy remotely. Teens also participate in experiential therapies (e.g. equine, music, art, fitness, yoga, and more) as well as SMART Recovery programs for those struggling with dual diagnoses.

We are a boutique residential medical drug and alcohol detoxification facility specializing addiction treatment and dual diagnosis. We offer private rooms and a closely and professionally monitored medical detoxification using effective and safe methods to make your detoxification experience as safe and comfortable as possible. We also provide residential services for after the detox from 30-60 days. Our aim at Diamond House is to create a warm home-like environment where every individual has the privacy of their own room in addition to comfortable spaces for social interactions and group discussions. We offer an intimate treatment setting with a maximum of 6 guests in each home. We currently have 4 locations with 6 beds each. We are located in Northern California, in Sacramento and Elk Grove.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) was initially developed by Marsha Linehan in the early 1990’s to help clients that were suicidal or intentionally self-injuring. However, it has been shown to be effective with other impulse control disorders including substance abuse. This is a strength based, skills building program. We teach 4 sets of skills in a 25 week model, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Emotion Regulation, and Distress Tolerance. We have a program for teens and adults in three locations, Auburn, Davis and Folsom.

Our substance use disorder treatment program is designed to help individuals safely withdrawal from addictive substances such as heroin, opioids, alcohol, benzodiazepines, cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamines.

We are open for anyone and everyone, via tele-health, throughout California. Center For Discovery has been providing excellent behavioral health treatment since treating our first client in 1997. Discovery offers a full continuum of care specializing in the unique and specific needs associated with eating disorder, mental health, and substance abuse treatment. Discovery treats adult women 18 and over and adolescent males and females ages 10 - 19 in separate programs. Our treatment locations offer a warm and engaging environment that fosters long term recovery.
