White Deer Run is a network of treatment centers located throughout the state of Pennsylvania. Mechanicsburg Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, provides medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults age 18 and older who need help achieving recovery from opioid addiction. MAT integrates prescription medications and therapy to address the intricate physical and psychological aspects of opioid addiction. This evidence-based treatment method has proved to improve treatment outcomes, reduce the risk for relapse, and support long-term recovery from opioid use disorder. The medications used in MAT work by reducing distressing withdrawal symptoms and opioid cravings so that people who have an opioid addiction can achieve and remain in recovery. Our inpatient program lasts for an average of five to seven days, although each patient’s actual length of stay is based on their specific needs.
