The Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program at Metamorphosis is a structured, short-term treatment program designed for adolescents ages 13–17 who struggle with suicidal thoughts and are at risk of hospitalization or are in need of a more intensive level of therapy than traditional counseling provides. Adolescents in our IOP will benefit from being in intensive therapy three times a week, 3 hrs a day, while remaining at home, in school and a part of the community during their treatment.

Design for Change Recovery provides unique addiction treatment programs that include evidence-based therapies as part of a comprehensive curriculum. Insurance covers up to 100 percent of the treatment and therapeutic modalities that Newport Academy offers. We accept all major insurance providers and work collaboratively with payers to optimize coverage for families. Many adolescents who receive treatment from Newport Academy using insurance coverage do so through a Single Case Agreement, a special contract through which out-of-network providers can work with a family’s insurance company on an In-Network basis. Newport Academy maintains a full-time, in-house team dedicated to supporting families through the mental health insurance coverage and financing process. In order to secure sufficient insurance coverage, we will most likely need to conduct a series of clinical reviews and any requested doctor-to-doctor calls with the insurance company. While other facilities may charge for this service, we feel it is our responsibility to assist families with what can be a complex process. Our goal is to ensure that families receive the maximum coverage, so they can access the highest-quality treatment.

Exist Centers is Orange County's premier outpatient (PHP/IOP) program designed to specifically target the physical, cognitive, and psychological causes of both substance use and mental health disorders. We know people can heal, and we provide comprehensive, human-first treatment. Our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provides intensive daily therapy for substance use and mental health concerns, without overnight stays. It's ideal for inpatient transitions or those needing more support than traditional therapy. PHP is Monday through Friday, 5x a week. Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides flexible treatment for substance use, with therapy and education sessions fitting into daily schedules. It's ideal for balancing recovery with personal, school, or work commitments. IOP is 3-5x a week, Monday-Friday, Mornings or Afternoons. If you need housing, we can help you find appropriate local transitional housing.
